I am a Senior Platform Engineer on Wealthsimple’s Infrastructure Platform team, based in Toronto and working hybrid/remote-first. I spent my first 5–6 years as a traditional backend/SRE engineer focusing on Go, Kubernetes operators, and observability. Today, I specialize in building internal platforms that product teams use to request and operate infrastructure, dealing heavily with multi-cluster Kubernetes environments across AWS and private clouds.
I am also a steady open-source contributor to Meshery, focusing on Kanvas design collaboration, Kubernetes schema validation, and real-world multi-cluster reconciliation. I am passionate about creating clear boundaries between core and extensions, modular governance, and fostering psychological safety in open-source communities.

Senior Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Platform
Wealthsimple | Toronto, ON (Hybrid) | 2021 – Present
- Own the multi-cluster Kubernetes platform serving Wealthsimple’s core trading, banking, and tax products (40+ clusters across AWS and private cloud).
- Introduced and operationalized Meshery for brownfield discovery, infrastructure design, and collaborative design review; the tool is now part of the standard platform onboarding path.
- Lead design-to-GitOps promotion workflows so that approved Kanvas designs become the source of truth for environment configuration.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure design-time validation catches policy violations before they reach production.
- Reduce mean time to understand “what is running where” by ~60% through improved discovery and design fidelity.

- Built and operated the company’s first multi-cluster Kubernetes platform (EKS + on-prem).
- Designed internal developer platform primitives (namespaces, network policies, resource quotas, observability defaults).
